Persona 4 Remake Xbox Games Showcase

REDMOND, Washington — The highly anticipated Persona 4 Remake is rumored to be officially revealed during Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Multiple sources have reported that Atlus’ Persona 4 Remake will launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. However, details about a potential Nintendo Switch 2 version remain uncertain.

The announcement comes after significant leaks regarding the game. Last month, three original voice actors for the game stated they would not return for the remake. One of them, Yuri Lowenthal, known for voicing Yosuke, addressed fans on BlueSky, confirming his exit in a since-deleted post.

“No, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” he wrote. “I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back.”

Other actors, including Erin Fitzgerald, the voice of Chie Satonaka, and Amanda Winn Lee, who voiced Yukiko Amagi, also announced they would not reprise their roles. Despite this, fans have kept hope alive for a swift announcement following a year filled with speculation.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be livestreamed at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern / 6 p.m. UK time, where attendees can expect to see upcoming titles from Microsoft’s first-party studios as well as new offerings from third-party partners.

While gameplay details for Persona 4 Remake are yet to be unveiled, expectations suggest it might follow the successful formula of last year’s remakes, including Persona 3 Reload. Fans are eager for more information, especially with rumors surrounding the forthcoming Persona 6.
