Davis Darusman The Price Is Right

Los Angeles, CA — Davis Darusman won big on the June 11 episode of "The Price Is Right," taking home a total of over $50,000 in prizes. After his exciting win, he shared insights about the show and his experience with the crew.

Darusman kicked off his winnings with a Canon digital camera valued at $2,499 on Bidder’s Row. He then participated in the game "Take Two," where he had to select two prizes whose combined values matched a target price of $7,034.

With the audience cheering him on, Darusman chose designer shoes and a skee ball machine, which were priced at $2,535 and $4,499, respectively. The total matched the target exactly, allowing him to win all four prizes available in the game.

Not stopping there, he later entered the Showcase segment, where he bid $35,000 on camping equipment, air purifiers, and a 2024 Mazda MX–5 Miata Sport. The actual price was $35,769, and his narrow margin of $769 made him the official winner.

During an "Ask Me Anything" session afterward, Darusman spoke highly of the show’s staff. He described them as "incredibly kind" and recounted his interactions with host Drew Carey. "He matched our energy and was very kind," Darusman said. "He made a few borderline inappropriate but hilarious jokes that left him visibly hesitant while on camera."

Regarding his prizes, Darusman said he accepted the cash value of the car, less California state taxes, since he is an out-of-state resident. He was thrilled with his winnings, which included a few items he personally valued, while acknowledging that taxes affected what he could take home. "As much as I wish I could’ve kept everything, I realistically was not going to use or already had what I won and didn’t want to pay taxes on them," Darusman concluded.
