Pierce The Veil’s ‘Selfish Machines’ Achieves Gold Certification

Los Angeles, CA – Pierce The Veil has received a gold certification for their 2010 album “Selfish Machines” in the United States. This milestone marks the fourth certification for the band this year.

The multi-platinum emo/post-hardcore group celebrated their latest achievement on June 13, 2025. Earlier this year, their hit track “Bulls In The Bronx” was certified platinum on January 17. Other popular tracks including “Circles,” “Hell Above,” and “Hold On Till May” featuring Lindsey Stamey, all received gold certifications.

With this latest certification, the band currently holds a total of five platinum singles. Notably, one of these singles, “King For A Day,” is certified 2x multi-platinum. The group’s accolades also include two gold-certified albums and three gold singles.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awards a platinum certification to albums or singles that reach 1,000,000 units sold, while gold signifies 500,000 units. These certifications take into account traditional physical and digital sales, as well as digital streams and downloads.

Pierce The Veil continues to tour, recently announcing a series of concerts that will take them across North America and Europe later this year. This includes performances in major cities such as Dallas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles, showcasing their growing popularity.
