LOS ANGELES, CA — Christian Camargo, who played a key villain in the original “Dexter” series, teased his return in the upcoming spin-off “Dexter: Resurrection.” This revival will premiere on July 11, 2025, and follows the success of last year’s prequel series, “Original Sin.”

In a social media post shared on June 12, Camargo hinted at his return by showcasing his wardrobe from the show, which included Brian Moser’s iconic outfit from the season one finale, hinting that he will return as the character.

Camargo’s last appearance as Brian was in season six when Dexter had hallucinations involving him. Given his recent post and the show’s themes, it is likely that Brian will reappear alongside other notable characters from Dexter’s past.

In “Dexter: Resurrection,” which kicks off with Dexter waking up in a hospital, viewers can expect ghostly appearances from various characters, including the Trinity Killer, Miguel Prado, and possibly Brian Moser. Discussions among fans suggest that Brian could assume a role similar to Dexter’s Dark Passenger, a figure reflecting Dexter’s internal struggles.

Showrunner Clyde Phillips has a history of exploring character dynamics, and with Brian’s story further developed in “Original Sin,” there is speculation about the potential depth of the relationship between Brian and Dexter. The series aims to blend nostalgia with new elements, reintroducing beloved characters while adding new faces like Uma Thurman and Peter Dinklage.

The upcoming show is set to expand the “Dexter” universe, bringing back characters such as Angel Batista and Harry Morgan as Dexter’s spiritual guide. While some characters will make brief appearances, the depth of their return, including Brian’s, remains to be seen.

As anticipation builds for “Dexter: Resurrection,” fans are eager to see how these returning characters will influence Dexter’s journey and the storylines throughout the series.
