It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 17 Trailer

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The popular comedy series, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is set to return for its 17th season with a newly released official trailer. The season debut is scheduled for July 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FXX, with episodes available for streaming the following day on Hulu.

This season features unique crossover episodes, including a storyline where Frank Reynolds, played by Danny DeVito, participates in a parody version of The Golden Bachelor. Jesse Palmer, the show’s actual host, makes an appearance, hinting at romantic escapades in Philadelphia.

<pAdditionally, the gang from Paddy’s Pub will cross paths with the characters from Abbott Elementary, who previously hosted them for court-ordered community service in an earlier episode.

Quinta Brunson, who created and stars in Abbott Elementary, reflected on the crossover, saying, “They represent a part of South Philly, and we represent a part of West Philly that is very real. It just made sense immediately.”

The trailer hints at the show’s signature humor, highlighting the gang’s willingness to push boundaries and explore new comedic territory. The synopsis promises antics including corporate shenanigans, mixed motivations, and persistent quests for wealth and fame.

Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, and Kaitlin Olson join DeVito for another season of humorous exploits, continuing a tradition that began in 2005.

The first two episodes of the new season will premiere on July 9, followed by same-day streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
