RWS Global Executives Announced as Keynote Speakers for SVG Summit

Los Angeles, CA — RWS Global’s Executive Vice President of Business Operations, Kim Henshaw, and Vice President of Sports Technology, Matthew Byles, will be the keynote speakers at the SVG Venues & Teams Summit scheduled for July 23 at the Intuit Dome.
RWS Global, a prominent production and entertainment company, has played a crucial role in enhancing fan experiences during major sporting events, including the Olympic Games since 2000. For the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, more than 450 RWS staff members will contribute to the organization of 54 sports across 37 venues.
During the summit, Henshaw and Byles will share their insights on planning and executing in-venue activations and the technologies that support these efforts. Henshaw’s career began at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, Canada. Over the last 30 years, she has led RWS Global’s sports division, focusing on people management and business operations.
Byles leads the company’s technical and innovation sector, overseeing aspects like lighting, audio, and video for sports events. He plays a pivotal role in the development of PV4, RWS Global’s system for dynamic screen experiences. His expertise has been integral to events like the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This year’s SVG Venues & Teams Summit will explore trends in fan engagement and showcase the new NBA arena. Production professionals can expect a full tour of the Intuit Dome, as well as presentations on workflows powering modern venues.
Topics at the summit will include digital content creation, studio production processes, and technologies that enhance live game-day experiences. Interested attendees should note that registration closes on July 15, and due to limited capacity, no on-site registration will be available.
