Shooting Investigation Underway at DeKalb County Gas Station

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night outside a gas station in the Decatur area.

The incident took place around 11:24 p.m. in the 4400 block of Glenwood Road near Austin Drive. Authorities believe the shooting may be connected to a robbery.

Police responded quickly to the scene, but no arrests have been made yet. They have not released any information about potential suspects.

Earlier that afternoon, another incident was reported at a gas station on Stone Mill Way near Tucker around 3:30 p.m. NewsChopper 2 captured images of police vehicles at the location, with gas pumps cordoned off by police tape.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be sent anonymously through the free Tip411 app or by texting “DKPD” to 847411, followed by the tip.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing as police seek to uncover more details.
