Lsu Women's Basketball Schedule Announcement

BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU women’s basketball team announced its 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday, revealing an exciting lineup for the Tigers’ 51st season, starting on Nov. 4 against Houston Christian.

The schedule includes 15 home games, two exhibition matches, and 12 road games, featuring multiple neutral site contests. Notably, the Tigers will participate in a Thanksgiving Tournament in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the fifth consecutive year, and they will also embark on their first road trip in the ACC/SEC Challenge since its inception in 2023-24.

Coach Kim Mulkey, returning for her fifth season, guides a roster that includes key players such as First-Team All-SEC stars Flau’jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams, along with role player Kailyn Gilbert and sophomore Jada Richard. The team has bolstered its lineup by welcoming transfers MiLaysia Fulwiley, Amiya Joyner, and Kate Koval.

The recruiting class is particularly strong, featuring four five-star recruits: Bella Hines, ZaKiyah Johnson, Divine Bourrage, and Grace Knox. This class has been ranked No. 1 across various recruiting services.

LSU will host two exhibition games at the Maravich Center on Oct. 23 against Mississippi College and on Oct. 30 against Langston. After the season opener on Nov. 4, the Tigers will play Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 6 and will then head to Georgia Southern on Nov. 9.

Throughout the non-conference schedule, LSU will also face teams like Duke and Miami (OH) during the Paradise Jam tournament in late November. The SEC play kicks off on Jan. 1 against Kentucky, with additional conference matchups against teams like Texas and Alabama.

All games will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network, while the television schedule will be announced later. Fans can purchase single game tickets closer to the season, and are encouraged to join the Fast Break Club, LSU women’s basketball’s official booster club.

LSU last played on a Saturday in January 2005 during a conference game, marking a return to this tradition with the South Carolina matchup on Feb. 14.
