Watford, England — Tom Holland and Zendaya, both 29, are reportedly facing challenges maintaining their privacy as fans increasingly show up at their home. The couple, known for their roles in the Spider-Man franchise, has invested around £1,000 a day in security after fans began turning up uninvited at their £3 million residence.

A source close to the couple revealed, “Fans kept rocking up to their place and it started to get a bit much. They love interacting with their fans but, when they’re not working, they’re just a young couple trying to have a normal life.” Security measures were put in place to deter unwanted visitors looking for selfies and autographs.

A neighbor commented, “As soon as Tom and Zendaya started filming the new Spider-Man, fans just kept turning up. Now they’ve got this burly security bloke outside. He’s friendly enough, but looking at him, he’s not the kind of man you’d want to miff off.”

In an unrelated incident, paramedics rushed to Leavesden Studios in Watford last Friday after Holland suffered a head injury while filming. He was treated at a hospital and later discharged. A source downplayed the severity of the injury, stating, “The accident wasn’t as bad as people think. A line snapped on a pull ring and he got a bump on his bonce.”

Filming, which was set to resume in London this Thursday, is now postponed for two weeks while Holland recovers from a suspected concussion. A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to attend to Holland, who was later transported to the hospital for further care.

The upcoming film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has a reported budget of $200 million and is still scheduled for release in July 2026. However, production delays are estimated to cost the studio around £1.5 million a day. Industry insiders indicate that even when filming halts, costs for the cast, crew, and equipment continue to escalate.

Film director Emeka Egbuonu remarked, “On a production the size of Spider-Man, which carries a $200 million budget, the daily running costs are immense. Even when filming halts, many of those costs don’t disappear.” The delays create additional pressure on schedules and delivery timelines as crews need to be compensated and resources maintained during downtime.
