Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli Separate After Nearly 28 Years

LOS ANGELES, CA — Actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli have separated after nearly 28 years of marriage. A representative for Loughlin confirmed on October 2, 2025, that they are currently living apart and are taking a break from their marriage. According to the rep, no legal proceedings are underway at this time.
The couple, parents to daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, have faced several challenges in recent years, including legal troubles stemming from the 2019 college admissions scandal. Loughlin and Giannulli were implicated in a scheme that falsely represented their daughters as recruits to the University of Southern California’s crew team. Both pleaded guilty to charges in May 2020 and served time in prison.
In February 2025, Loughlin and Giannulli listed their 11,800-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills for $16.5 million, a significant indication of their strained relationship. This mansion was purchased for $9.5 million prior to their legal issues.
Loughlin, known for her role in “Full House,” began to rebuild her career following her release from prison in December 2020. She reprised her role in the holiday film “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas” in December 2021 and has made appearances in shows like “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Blue Bloods,” and “On Call.”
In an interview earlier in 2024, Loughlin discussed forgiveness and moving forward, stating, “I try to be a forgiving person. I’m not one to hold onto stuff.” Loughlin emphasized the importance of letting go of negativity for one’s own health and happiness.
As the situation develops, both Loughlin and Giannulli appear to be focused on their personal journeys, with a commitment to their daughters at the forefront.
