Call Of Duty Black Ops 7 Beta Launch

Santa Monica, CA – On October 2, 2025, the Early Access Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 kicked off, allowing select players to experience a new multiplayer landscape. Players can access the Beta until October 5, followed by an Open Beta from October 5 to 8.

The Treyarch team expressed excitement over the initial reaction from players, thanking them for feedback that will shape the Beta experience. Among the new features included in Day 2 of the Beta are a Zombies mode named Survival, a 6v6 map titled Imprint, and a competitive mode named Overload.

Treyarch is currently evaluating player feedback concerning the game’s Time-to-Kill (TTK) and weapon balance, which is reminiscent of previous installments. The team has noted comments about a potentially fast TTK and is planning adjustments to maintain a competitive environment among the game’s 30 available weapons.

“We want to ensure all weapons are competitive within their class and role,” said a Treyarch representative, indicating an impending weapon balance update. Player discussions have also highlighted the need for adjustments in Weapon XP earn rates, prompting the studio to consider changes to the spawning system and remedying early bugs.

The Beta features a variety of gameplay modes, including Domination, Hardpoint, and a Training Course, giving players a chance to familiarize themselves with Black Ops 7’s mechanics. Alongside these modes, Zombies Survival will allow players to combat waves of undead foes starting on October 3.

Players are invited to explore various new features within Zombies, including the Wisp Tea Perk-a-Cola and other unique equipment. Notably, a lack of Easter Eggs in this Beta phase aims to maintain the day-one experience for players.

As Treyarch progresses towards the full release on November 14, the team aims to keep open lines of communication with players to prioritize stability and balance across all multiplayer maps and modes. “We’re excited to play Black Ops 7 alongside all of you throughout the Beta,” they shared in a public statement.
