Miami Dolphins Vs Carolina Panthers Game Highlights

Charlotte, NC – The Miami Dolphins cruised to a decisive 27-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.

The Dolphins, coming off their first win of the season, set the tone early with a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa led Miami with a strong performance, completing 16 of 20 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

Miami quickly took control, scoring a field goal first, thanks to kicker Riley Patterson’s 43-yard attempt. With 10:08 left in the first half, Tagovailoa connected with running back De'Von Achane for a 10-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 10-0. Less than two minutes later, tight end Darren Waller caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Tagovailoa, making it 17-0.

The Panthers struggled offensively throughout the game, with rookie quarterback Bryce Young throwing an interception and losing a fumble. Young finished the game with a total of 118 passing yards, one touchdown, and two turnovers.

The lone touchdown for Carolina came in the second quarter when Young found wide receiver Xavier Legette for a 7-yard score, cutting the deficit to 17-7 at halftime. However, the Dolphins quickly responded after halftime, scoring another touchdown with Tagovailoa’s second touchdown pass to Achane.

Defensively, the Dolphins held the Panthers to just 229 total yards while forcing two turnovers. Miami’s defense has proven to be one of the toughest in the league, with standout performances from players like Minkah Fitzpatrick, who secured an interception.

Next week, the Dolphins will aim to keep their momentum going, while the Panthers will look for their second win of the season against a challenging opponent.
