Florida Panthers Behind The Scenes

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers are giving fans an inside look at their dressing room in the new season of “Faceoff: Inside the NHL.” The defending Stanley Cup champions are featured prominently once again, showcasing more than anyone expected.

In a memorable moment from the latest episode, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice walked into a side room during the Stanley Cup Final, only to unexpectedly encounter a naked Brad Marchand. Maurice’s surprised reaction was caught on camera: “That’ll f*ck you up for a couple months.” The clip has since gone viral, providing a humorous glimpse into the team’s relaxed and close-knit atmosphere.

Marchand, who was traded to the Panthers from the Boston Bruins in March, played a crucial role in their championship run. During the playoffs, he scored 10 goals and recorded 10 assists, finishing with a +17 rating in 23 games. Notably, he scored six goals in the Stanley Cup Final alone, making history as the first player to net an overtime goal and an opening-minute goal in consecutive games.

His performance ties him for the 10th most career playoff game-winning goals, solidifying his importance to the Panthers’ success. This lighthearted incident with Maurice reflects the strong camaraderie among players and staff that likely contributed to their back-to-back championships.

It seems that if nudity helps in achieving success, Marchand is ready to continue this unconventional approach—and Maurice might just be fine with it.
