Michigan Wolverines Usc Trojans College Football

LOS ANGELES, California – The No. 15 Michigan Wolverines will face the USC Trojans on Saturday, October 11, in a crucial Big Ten matchup at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Both teams enter the game with a 4-1 record, vying for a strong position in the College Football Playoff race.

This will be the second consecutive meeting between these teams. Last year, Michigan edged USC 27-24. The Wolverines are coming off a solid 24-10 victory over Wisconsin, while the Trojans are looking to bounce back from a narrow 34-32 loss to Illinois.

Michigan’s running back, Justice Haynes, has been key to their offense, rushing for over 100 yards in each of his first five games. Head coach Sherrone Moore praised Haynes’s impact, saying, “He has transformed our run game into one of the best in the country.”

USC relies heavily on its aerial attack, led by quarterback Jayden Maiava, who has impressed this season with a completion rate of 70.5%. His connection with wide receivers Makai Lemon and Ja'Kobi Lane could be instrumental against Michigan’s strong defense.

The Wolverines, known for their physical running game, are expected to challenge USC’s shaky defense, which has struggled to contain opposing offenses this season. Michigan’s defense, ranked 7th nationally, should provide a stout challenge with its ability to limit big plays.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, and fans can watch the game on NBC. Both teams will look to secure a critical win as they push toward the postseason.
