PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes is making the most of his offseason by bringing a taste of ballpark life into his kitchen. This week, Skenes shared an Instagram story featuring a hot dog roller, a staple at any baseball game, along with a stack of buns.

The hot dog roller now sits in his girlfriend Livvy Dunne‘s new home in Jupiter, Florida. The couple enjoyed a dinner that included an Italian theme of chicken parmesan, sausage, breadsticks, and pasta, along with the hot dogs.

Dunne posted a TikTok of Skenes using the roller, showcasing a fun moment that is likely to become a regular feature in their dinner routine. “The sound that plays in my head when my bf brings out the hot dog roller for dinner,” she humorously captioned the video.

Fans quickly responded to the post, commenting on Skenes’ straightforward dinner choice and Dunne’s playful teasing. Dunne has expressed her fondness for ballpark hot dogs, previously stating, “I am rating hot dogs at every stadium I go to,” with a nod to PNC Park, where Skenes pitches.

During the season, Skenes made an impactful debut with the Pirates, showcasing his talent on the mound. He earned recognition for his performance, with standout games, including throwing six scoreless innings in a recent matchup against the Cincinnati Reds while fans devoured over 20,000 hot dogs during the game.

As the season wrapped up, Skenes and Dunne spent time together celebrating her 23rd birthday in New York City. They have become one of baseball’s most followed couples, sharing light-hearted moments with their fans.

With the Pirates missing the postseason, Skenes is enjoying the offseason, stepping away from the pressure of the game and focusing on his relationship and personal downtime.
