Strasbourg, France – Kendry Páez, an 18-year-old Ecuadorian talent, has made headlines this week following his remarkable start to the season with Racing Strasbourg. On October 13, the Ligue 1 organization officially announced that Páez has been awarded the Young Player of the Month for September.
Páez, who developed his skills with Independiente del Valle, has been on loan at Racing Strasbourg from Chelsea FC for one year. In just nine matches, he has shown his prowess on the field with 4 starting appearances, totaling 380 minutes and scoring one goal.
His recent accomplishments come just days after he was featured in a high-profile Adidas campaign alongside football superstar Lionel Messi. The young player has already won the hearts of fans in France, playing under the guidance of English coach Liam Rosenior.
