Garcelle Beauvais Swatting Incident

LOS ANGELES, CA — Garcelle Beauvais, known for her role on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ recounted a terrifying experience of her house being swatted during a recent episode of her podcast.

Beauvais revealed that FBI agents arrived at her residence with rifles drawn, responding to a false report. “I have video of rifles with lights on them,” she shared, describing the distressing moment.

The incident occurred while Beauvais was at her beach house with 11 teenagers, including both Black and white youths. “We were having a great time,” she recalled of their getaway. By the third day, they decided to head home, but chaos soon followed.

A neighbor notified Beauvais that their street was closed off by law enforcement. “They want your number,” the neighbor said, expressing concern. Beauvais, apprehensive about sharing her contact information, continued to seek clarity. “I didn’t even know what that was,” she said when her son explained the mechanics of swatting.

Fortunately, Beauvais and the teenagers had left the beach house just in time. “God is amazing because had we been there, I would have been there with 11 teenagers,” she reflected with gratitude. “All night long, I kept on saying ‘Thank you, God. Thank you, God. God, thank you, God. We weren’t there.’”

The event has raised significant concerns about safety and the misuse of law enforcement resources, especially in the context of public figures. Beauvais’s experience highlights the potential dangers associated with swatting incidents.

The episode is available for streaming on Peacock, where fans can hear more of Beauvais’s insights and experiences.
