Dancing With the Stars Halloween Night Unveils Drama and Thrills
Los Angeles, CA – Halloween night brought both excitement and tension to season 34 of Dancing With the Stars as the remaining couples took to the floor for a thrilling dance marathon. The episode, aired on October 28, 2025, showcased unique routines infused with the spooky spirit of Halloween.
Among the nine couples still in the competition were Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, and comedian Andy Richter. However, last week’s elimination saw Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold leave the show, following a previous week’s performance that resulted in no eliminations.
This week, Dylan Efron and his partner Daniella Karagach continued to impress judges and viewers alike, earning a score of 35/40. Efron, who is new to ballroom dancing, has been steadily improving, thanks in part to Karagach’s coaching. She expressed pride in his dedication, stating, “He really started from the ground up, and it just makes me such a proud coach.”
Halloween Night was particularly special for Karagach, as she embraced a more story-driven approach to her Viennese Waltz. “I’m excited to get more creative, because I’m not allowed to do tricks and lifts, so it’s going to be more of a storyline,” she said.
As the couples faced off in the dance marathon, the pressure mounted. Each pair performed additional dances while judges selected contestants to tap out one by one. “The dance marathon is extremely stressful,” Karagach admitted. “You’re learning two extra dances on top of your main performance.”
After the evening of spirited competition, the judges revealed their scores, highlighting the talent present in the competition. Alix Earle and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy received a top score of 39/40 while Robert Irwin and Witney Carson followed closely behind with a score of 38/40.
Ultimately, Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik found themselves on the chopping block, getting eliminated with a score of 32/40. With only a few weeks left in the competition, the pressure is mounting as the remaining contestants prepare for a series of themed nights ahead.
New episodes of Dancing With the Stars season 34 air on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., with episodes available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
