Offset’s Halloween Project Takes Aim at Cardi B and Stefon Diggs
LOS ANGELES, CA — Offset released his surprise album, “Haunted by Fame,” on Friday, October 31, which features tracks that appear to address his complex relationships with estranged wife Cardi B and her new boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs.
The notable track “No Sweat” includes lines many fans interpret as a jab at Cardi’s decision to date Diggs while still legally married to Offset. In the verse, Offset raps, “How the f*** you leave Jordan for Rodman? / You a fool if you think that I’m hurt,” comparing himself to basketball legend Michael Jordan and insinuating that Diggs is less significant.
He continues with references to Cardi’s pregnancy, saying, “How you married and still givin’ birth? / Get some help, b***h, you goin’ berserk.” These lyrics highlight the ongoing tension between the former couple as their divorce remains unresolved since Cardi filed in July 2024.
Cardi expressed frustration about the delay of their divorce, claiming Offset wants her to cover his tax debts before the marriage can be legally dissolved. “The only reason why I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes,” she stated in a recent social media post.
The Bronx native, who is currently expecting her fourth child, confirmed her pregnancy with Diggs in September. She reassured fans that her focus is on her growing family, stating, “Yes, I’m having a baby with somebody else. So what? That happens. It’s life.”
Offset’s album follows his earlier project released in August and includes multiple tracks with lyrics perceived as directed at Cardi. In “Haunted by Fame,” he raps, “I know these n**s only wanna f*** you ’cause I f*** with you,” suggesting jealousy over Cardi’s new relationship.
As the drama unfolds, Cardi has not yet publicly responded to the latest tracks. The couple shares three children, and fans are watching closely as both artists navigate their personal lives amid busy careers.
