Marvel Snap World Championship Series Launches This Saturday

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Marvel Snap World Championship Series is set to kick off on Saturday, November 8. This exciting event follows the launch of the Arachnid Anarchy season, which is already available for players. For those wary of spiders, fear not; it features Spider-Verse arachnids and not any real ones.

The Golden Gauntlet launched in August as an inclusive tournament open to participants worldwide. This accessibility has allowed amateurs to compete alongside seasoned players. The tournament’s final round on November 8 will showcase over 300 players battling through nine rounds of Swiss to reach the Top 16 Playoffs.

If you can’t wait until Saturday to get your Marvel Snap fix, the new character Spider Punk is available now. Known for his ability to disrupt opponents, Spider Punk can move once and steal two power from the highest-power enemy he encounters, making him a strategic asset.

Another option is The Prowler, who on Reveal adds two Thief’s Tools to your hand, enabling players to set the costs to zero if a card moved the previous turn. This synergy works well with Spider Punk.

Players can also enjoy new locations such as Parker Industries, which boosts energy at the cost of only playing one card, or The Mosh Pit, which grants an additional power to the front card. Starting November 14, players can experience the High Voltage mode, and from November 24 to December 1, they can enter the Sanctum Showdown for a chance to win Hydro-Man.
