ACADIANA, La. — Several high school football teams in the Acadiana area finished the regular season with commanding victories, setting the stage for the playoffs.

Acadiana secured the District 3-5A title with a 21-14 win over Carencro on Friday night. This victory marked a significant achievement as the team heads into the postseason.

Erath completed an undefeated season with a historic 10-0 record, culminating in a 40-12 win against Abbeville. This marks a milestone for the school.

Teurlings Catholic also finished strong, defeating Northside 36-6. Their continued success this season keeps them in contention for the playoffs.

St. Thomas More had an impressive night, easily rolling past North Vermilion with a score of 55-7. Their dominant performance highlights their strong standing in the league.

In other matchups, Lafayette Renaissance Charter edged out Ascension Episcopal in a close game, winning 25-24. Loreauville narrowly defeated West St. Mary 15-14, while Kaplan overcame St. Martinville 28-20.
