Nhl Injury Report November 2025

Edmonton, Alberta – The NHL announced significant injury developments on November 11, 2025, impacting teams across the league. Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will miss one week due to an undisclosed injury, coach Kris Knoblauch disclosed before their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Nugent-Hopkins has been a key contributor for the Oilers, amassing 16 points through 16 games this season. His absence will be felt, as he has been instrumental in their offensive plays. In his place, forward Mattias Janmark is set to make his season debut after recovering from an undisclosed injury.

“We expect to have Nugent-Hopkins back soon, but we are glad to have Janmark back in the lineup,” Knoblauch said. The Oilers are gearing up for a seven-game road trip, beginning Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Meanwhile, Florida Panthers forward Jonah Gadjovich faces a more extended absence, as he is scheduled for surgery on an upper-body injury sustained during a win against the Vegas Golden Knights on October 25. Gadjovich is expected to be sidelined for three months.

Gadjovich contributed three assists in ten games this season and was crucial in the Panthers’ recent success, including their back-to-back championship runs. “It’s a tough break for him and the team,” said Panthers coach. “He will be missed.”

As teams navigate these injuries, New York Rangers center Vincent Trocheck returned to the lineup after missing 14 games due to an upper-body injury. His presence is anticipated to spark the Rangers’ offense, which has struggled at home this season.

Trocheck noted, “I feel good, just glad to be back now. This was the day I circled on the calendar.” His return adds depth and experience to a struggling lineup.

As the NHL season progresses, teams will continue to manage injuries while striving for competitive balance.
