Bruce Willis Norah Jones Benefit Concert

New York City, NY – A star-studded benefit concert took place on November 5, 2025, at the Soho Sessions, with Keith Richards, Norah Jones, Mavis Staples, and Warren Haynes performing to raise money for the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD). The event honored actor Bruce Willis, who is currently battling frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Willis’ family announced in 2023 that the actor was diagnosed with the condition, prompting his current wife, Emma Heming Willis, and ex-wife, Demi Moore, to rally support. Heming Willis expressed gratitude for the gathering, noting that the musicians present are close friends of Bruce.

“Bruce would have loved this. He always loved live music,” Heming said. “He’d be excited to see all of them, because they are his friends.” She emphasized the importance of support during difficult times, sharing her own realization of the resources available for caregivers.

Before the performances started, Heming addressed the audience, thanking them for their presence and the awareness they are raising for FTD. “I honestly wish Bruce could be here, but he’s here in spirit,” she stated, encouraging the crowd to continue to celebrate life.

Norah Jones, who was eager to join the event, reflected on her past kindness received from Willis. “He was very kind to me one time. He was just really nice to me,” Jones recalled. “I was happy to be here.”

The Soho Sessions, produced by Greg Williamson and Nicole Rechter, has hosted exclusive events in the city, raising over $75 million for various charities in recent years. Rechter spoke about the emotional power of the concert, saying, “To watch these artists come together for Bruce was powerful.”

Williamson added that some nights possess a kind of magic that cannot be manufactured, indicating this was one of those special evenings.
