Garth Brooks Announces New Anthology Box Set Just in Time for Holidays
Nashville, TN – Country music star Garth Brooks has announced the release of his latest box set, “The Anthology Part VI: The Comeback – The Next Five Years,” just in time for the holiday season. The new collection will ship on December 5, 2025, and is being marketed as a must-have for fans.
The box set will include six CDs featuring 60 songs, a live recording from Brooks’ Ireland show, and over 150 behind-the-scenes photographs. It will be available for $39.95 and is intended to give fans a deeper look into Brooks’ musical journey, including his rise during the COVID-19 pandemic through drive-in concerts and virtual sessions.
“If you’ve lived the music, now you can live the songs and the stories behind them,” Brooks said in a social media announcement. The new anthology follows previous releases, including “The Anthology Part IV: Going Home,” which debuted in late 2024. Adding to the excitement, Brooks will provide an inside look at the set on December 1 at 7 PM ET, via an Amazon LIVE special.
Despite the good deal, some music consumers have shifted to digital formats. Critics note that Brooks’ exclusive focus on physical box sets may not reach the modern listener who prefers streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. Currently, the country legend’s music is available mainly on Amazon Music.
In addition to the box set announcement, Brooks is also slated to host two holiday specials in Nashville this December. The first will stream on Peacock on December 4, featuring performances from several artists. Brooks will also join Trisha Yearwood for “CMA Country Christmas,” airing on December 14 on ABC.
This holiday season is particularly special for Yearwood, who released her new Christmas album on November 7. Eager to celebrate, she shared the joy of her new music with fans through social media.
