NBA Announces Star-Studded Halftime Shows for Thanksgiving Games in 2025
Detroit, Michigan — The NFL is celebrating Thanksgiving 2025 with a three-game slate featuring exciting matchups and live performances by popular artists during halftime. The games will include key divisional battles, highlighted by performances in Detroit, Dallas, and Baltimore.
Jack White, a Detroit native and renowned rock artist, is set to perform during the Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving Day Classic against the Green Bay Packers on November 27 at 1 p.m. ET. White, a 12-time Grammy Award winner, is known for his work with The White Stripes and his successful solo career. Eminem, another Detroit native, will serve as the executive producer for the halftime show.
Post Malone will take the stage during the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game against the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET. The event will support The Salvation Army‘s Red Kettle Campaign, a tradition that dates back to 1997. Post Malone expressed excitement about performing, saying, “Let’s make it a party Cowboys nation.”
The final game features rapper Lil Jon performing at the Baltimore Ravens‘ matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET. Despite not being a traditional Thanksgiving host, the Ravens will have a highly anticipated AFC North clash.
Lil Jon, known for hits like “YEAH!” and “Turn Down for What,” has previously appeared at an NFL halftime show during Super Bowl LVIII. This Thanksgiving will mark another opportunity for him to entertain fans.
Post Malone’s ties to the Cowboys run deep — his father, Rich Post, worked with the team as assistant director of food and beverage for 14 years. Rich shared his pride in his son’s upcoming performance, emphasizing their family connection to the team and its traditions.
Malone, who has been losing weight and maintaining sobriety, celebrated his health journey on Instagram earlier this year. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has expressed excitement about Malone returning to the stadium, saying, “I’m extraordinarily excited” for the Thanksgiving show.
