Abbey Clancy, the renowned model who gained fame through her appearance on Britain’s Next Top Model and her marriage to footballer Peter Crouch, recently found herself in a moment of embarrassment during a guest appearance on Radio X.

During the show hosted by Toby Tarrant and Dominic Byrne, Abbey was reminded of a chapter from her past when a clip from her music career with the band Genie Queen was played.

Amidst the teasing, Abbey let out a scream of embarrassment as the hosts delved into the details of her short-lived music project, which she had been a part of at the age of 17 alongside Lauren Blake and Anna Ord.

As the hosts played a song by Genie Queen, titled ‘Finger Licking,’ Abbey’s reaction was a mix of laughter and disbelief, exclaiming, ‘Agh! I can’t believe you’ve done this! You horrible, horrible… This is a remix I’ve never heard.’

Reflecting on her passion for singing, Abbey shared a bit of her backstory, recalling her desire to be a popstar and the formation of Genie Queen during her time working at a vintage shop named Bulletproof in Liverpool.

Following her stint on Britain’s Next Top Model, Abbey’s career skyrocketed, leading to numerous modeling contracts and opportunities, including becoming the face of EuroMillions and Lynx3 spray, as well as gracing the covers of magazines like FHM and Sports Illustrated.
