Ace Hardware to Distribute One Million Flags on Memorial Day Weekend

OAK BROOK, Illinois — In a heartfelt tribute, Ace Hardware is set to continue its tradition of community support by giving away one million American flags. On Saturday, May 24, Ace, in collaboration with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), will distribute the flags at participating locations nationwide from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The flags will be available for free while supplies last, allowing customers to show their support over the holiday weekend.

“We want to honor those who served while providing a way for our community to display their patriotism,” said an Ace Hardware spokesperson. Customers are encouraged to arrive early to claim their free flag, as quantities are limited and demand is expected to be high.
