Actor Jimmy Varsan to be Honored in Final Performance

Mexico City, Mexico — Actor Sergio Cuéllar shared heartfelt reflections on the late Jimmy Varsan, who was part of the cast of ‘Un Hamlet.’ Cuéllar expressed gratitude for the support during what he called a challenging time. In Varsan’s final moments of clarity, he asked for the time and recited lines from the play. The cast plans to honor him during the last performance, scheduled for Monday, April 28, at 8 p.m. at Teatro Xola Julio Prieto in Del Valle.

The production team of ‘Un Hamlet’ also spoke out, paying tribute to Varsan, who played a notable role in the performance. They said, “On behalf of the cast and crew of ‘Un Hamlet,’ we share this tribute for Jimmy Varsan. Your talent, generosity, and love for theater left an indelible mark on each of us. Rest in peace.”

Friends and colleagues were concerned for Varsan’s health in recent days. Javier Reivaj noted on social media that Varsan was intubated and in grave condition. He called for support, stating, “I don’t normally ask for help, but a very dear person is in a delicate situation. My friend and talented artist, who has performed with me at major events, is in critical condition.”
