Actress Faith Ojo Confirms Involvement of Lizzy Anjorin’s Husband in Land Dispute
Nollywood actress Faith Ojo has officially acknowledged the alleged connection of Lateef Lawal, the spouse of her fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin, in a land dispute case.
Files from the Magistrate Court in Oyingbo Ebute-Metta have identified Lizzy Anjorin’s husband among those accused of demolishing structures on a property owned by Faith Ojo.
Lateef Lawal reportedly eluded arrest in Ikoyi, Lagos State, following an incident on February 5, 2024, where one of his associates, Alhaji Sulaimon of Okun-Ajah, Eti-Osa, Lagos State, and others were apprehended and sent to prison.
Reacting to the unfolding events, Faith Ojo confirmed through an Instagram post that Lizzy Anjorin’s spouse is involved in a land dispute. Faith asserted that the contested land in Okun-Ajah, Eti-Osa Lagos bearing file number ‘AGA/2582/037J/2020/LA’ belongs to her.
The actress expressed that she acquired the land four years ago with the intention of constructing an orphanage to offer assistance to those in need.
Faith Ojo emphasized the negative impact of land grabbing, hinting that this legal battle will serve as a deterrent for others who engage in such practices.
She concluded by stressing the need for justice and expressing confidence in the Nigerian judiciary to address the situation appropriately.
