Sydney Sweeney Soap Bar Launch

New York, NY — Actress Sydney Sweeney has partnered with Dr. Squatch to launch a limited-edition soap bar, Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss, made using her actual bathwater. The bar will be available for purchase starting June 6, 2025.

The announcement was made on May 29 via a joint Instagram post from Sweeney and Dr. Squatch. The post stated, ‘You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad … so we kept it,’ teasing fans with the product’s unique origin.

At her movie’s premiere on June 4, Sweeney explained the mixed reviews the soap is receiving. ‘The internet was either all for it with some saying, “whatever makes men take showers,”‘ she told PEOPLE. She expressed amusement over the concept, saying, ‘I think it’s more fun to see everybody else talk about it.’

In a press release, Sweeney added, ‘When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap.’ Only 5,000 bars of this specialty soap will be made, featuring scents of pine, Douglas fir, and earthy moss.

As for its unusual ingredients, Sweeney noted, ‘It’s weird in the best way. I love that we created something unforgettable that smells incredible and represents something different in personal care.’

The entrepreneur, 27, emphasized the soap’s goal of encouraging men to reconsider their grooming habits with more natural products.

Sweeney is also starring in the upcoming thriller Echo Valley alongside Julianne Moore, set to premiere on June 13, 2025, on Apple TV+. The film follows a mother-daughter duo caught in a dramatic situation that forces them to navigate complicated emotions and survive.
