NEW YORK, NY – Actress Sadie Sink made her Met Gala debut on May 5, 2025, turning heads in a stunning black satin dress with a plunging neckline and dramatic train. The 23-year-old, currently starring on Broadway, accessorized her look with a hairband and statement pearl earrings, showcasing her fashionable side at one of the year’s biggest events.

This year’s Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is a fundraiser spotlighting the spring exhibition entitled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The theme explores the influence of Black dandyism on fashion, illustrating how it serves as a powerful form of self-expression.

Sink was among several Broadway stars who took a break from their performances to attend the gala. Other notable attendees included Adrienne Warren and some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Gala co-chairs announced last October include Anna Wintour and other prominent figures in the fashion world. The exhibit and gala’s dress code, “Tailored for You,” emphasizes menswear, aligning with the exhibition’s themes.

Aside from her Met Gala appearance, Sink recently received her first Tony Award nomination for her role in “John Proctor Is the Villain.” Expressing her gratitude on Instagram, she called the nomination a “pinch me moment,” sharing how proud she is of her artistic team.

This appearance follows a series of chic moments for Sink this year, including attending a Broadway performance in a stylish tan coat and a black corseted dress for her show’s premiere.

As the evening unfolded, Sink and other attendees brought to life the gala’s theme, celebrating the intersection of culture and fashion.
