SEATTLE — Adam Gaudette is set to return to the San Jose Sharks lineup against the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday. Gaudette left the game on October 26 against the Minnesota Wild due to an upper-body injury but is now cleared to play.

“Just got hit in Minnesota and wasn’t feeling right,” Gaudette said in an interview with San Jose Hockey Now on Wednesday. He decided to exit the game because he felt he could be a liability on the ice. “I felt like something was off,” he added.

Since signing a two-year, $4 million contract with the Sharks after a successful season with the Ottawa Senators, Gaudette has tallied three goals in nine games. He is projected to skate alongside Alex Wennberg and Philipp Kurashev on the Sharks’ second line. Kurashev, who was named NHL’s Third Star of the Week last week, has been on a scoring streak, making this line promising for production.

Head coach Ryan Warsofsky confirmed that both Gaudette and Ty Dellandrea will play, though Michael Misa‘s participation remains uncertain as he is a game-time decision after leaving practice early.

The Sharks will play against the Kraken at 7 PM PT at Climate Pledge Arena, and fans can catch the action live on NBC Sports California. Warsofsky expressed confidence in the team’s power play despite recent challenges, highlighting John Klingberg‘s ability on the ice. “He’s got deception. He can shoot it,” Warsofsky noted.
