LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Adam Levine, the original coach of NBC‘s hit singing competition ‘The Voice,’ is making a highly anticipated return for Season 27, set to premiere on February 3, 2025. Levine, who last appeared as a coach in 2019, will join returning coaches Michael Bublé, John Legend, and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini in the iconic red chairs.

The season kicks off with a two-hour premiere episode featuring the first round of Blind Auditions, where coaches will build their teams based solely on contestants’ voices. Levine, known for his competitive spirit, expressed his excitement on Instagram, saying, ‘I cannot wait. I’m well rested. I’m ready to go. Team Adam is back!’

Michael Bublé, who debuted as a coach in Season 26 and led his team to victory, is returning to defend his title. John Legend, a frequent coach in recent seasons, is also back, aiming to add to his three previous wins. Meanwhile, Kelsea Ballerini, a rising country star, steps into her first full-time coaching role after previously serving as a part-time advisor.

The competition will follow its traditional format, starting with Blind Auditions, followed by Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs, and culminating in live performances where viewers vote for the winner. Fans can watch the premiere on NBC at 8/7c or stream it the next day on Peacock.

Levine’s return marks a nostalgic moment for longtime fans of the show, which has been a staple of NBC’s programming since its debut in 2011. With three wins under his belt, Levine ranks third in the show’s history for most victories by a coach.

Season 27 promises to deliver the same mix of talent, drama, and camaraderie that has made ‘The Voice’ a fan favorite. As the coaches prepare to battle for the next champion, viewers can expect unforgettable performances and plenty of surprises.
