The race to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 intensifies as Matchday 3 kicks off today, Thursday, 10 October 2024. Teams from across the continent are competing for crucial points in their quest for a place in the prestigious tournament, which is one of Africa’s premier football competitions.

In Group J, Namibia faces Zimbabwe, with the match slated to start at 13:00 GMT. Both teams are eager to secure a victory to improve their standing in the group. Group C witnesses Cape Verde going head-to-head with Botswana at 16:00 GMT. Additionally, Group H will see DR Congo take on Tanzania, while Ghana faces Sudan in Group F in encounters that could significantly impact their qualification aspirations.

Later today, at 19:00 GMT, Algeria plays against Togo in Group E. Simultaneously, Burkina Faso challenges Burundi in a Group L matchup. These encounters are part of a fierce competition as teams strive to guarantee their place in the next round of the AFCON Morocco 2025 qualifiers.

Over the span of three days from October 10 to October 12, 2024, a total of 24 matches are scheduled as teams divided into 12 groups battle it out. The top two finishers in each group, excluding the group containing hosts Morocco, will secure their spot in the competition.
