Alan Jackson Celebrates 66th Birthday with Radio Tribute and Farewell Tour Highlights
As Alan Jackson turns 66 this Thursday, his fans and music lovers are set to celebrate his birthday with special radio tributes. Real Country 92.1 Hank FM has announced that it will honor the Hall of Fame country musician by playing two of his popular songs every hour throughout the day. This announcement coincides with recently revealed details of Jackson’s ‘Last Call: One More for the Road’ farewell tour.
Alan Jackson, who recently announced his retirement, has embarked on a farewell tour set to run through May 2025. This tour includes ten concert dates, with seven yet to be performed. Currently, the next show is scheduled at the T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.
The remaining concerts will be held at prominent venues including the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, among others. These concerts represent the final opportunities for fans to experience Jackson’s live performances before his retirement.
Throughout his illustrious career, Alan Jackson has sold more than 75 million records and achieved numerous accolades, including 50 Top 10 singles, 35 No. 1 songs, 16 Country Music Association Awards, two Grammy Awards, and 17 Academy of Country Music Awards. Some of his most beloved hits include classics like “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow,” “Don’t Rock the Jukebox,” “Here in The Real World,” and “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning).”
In 2021, Jackson revealed that he had been diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a revelation that was met with support and admiration from his fans and colleagues alike. Despite this, he continues to perform and connect with audiences across the country.
