Alex Warren American Music Awards Performance

Las Vegas, NV – Alex Warren, a rising star known for his popular ballad “Ordinary,” is scheduled to perform at the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) on May 26. The awards show will air live from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.

This marks Warren’s first performance at the AMAs, following a successful appearance during the finale of a Netflix series on March 9, which helped boost his single’s popularity. Warren, 24, is seen as a strong contender for the best new artist category at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

Alongside Warren, other performers at the AMAs include Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Taylor Swift. The event will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who will also take the stage to perform. Janet Jackson will receive the Icon Award, and Rod Stewart is set to receive a lifetime achievement award.

The AMAs is recognized as the world’s largest fan-voted awards show, and this year’s nominees were based on several key fan interactions, including streaming, album sales, and radio airplay. Lamar leads the nominations with ten, followed closely by Post Malone with eight, and several artists, including Billie Eilish, with seven each.

Fan voting has closed, except for the categories of collaboration of the year and social song of the year, which will remain open during the first half-hour of the live broadcast. The AMAs will also highlight veterans in partnership with the Easy Day Foundation.

The show has been produced by Dick Clark Productions, a part of Penske Media Corporation, and is highly anticipated within the music industry. Following his recent engagement and marriage in 2024, Warren is expected to draw significant attention at the event.
