Amazon Prime Day 2025 Starts July 8 with New Deals

SEATTLE, Wash. — Amazon has announced that its 2025 Prime Day will take place from July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through July 11. This year’s event will last 96 hours and offer double the time for Prime members to shop millions of deals.
The summer shopping event will feature discounts on a wide variety of products, including pantry staples, home-improvement essentials, school supplies, and luxury items. Prime members will have access to specific daily deals titled ‘Today’s Big Deals,’ which will be exclusive to them and feature deep discounts on top brands like Samsung, Kiehl’s, and Levi’s.
“Prime Day is about celebrating our members by providing them with exceptional savings and convenient delivery, and now is an excellent time to save,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime.
In addition to the main deal offerings, Amazon is launching ‘Today’s Big Deals’ which will introduce themed daily drops of exclusive offers beginning at midnight PDT each day during the event. Prime members are encouraged to check back often as new deals may drop as frequently as every five minutes.
This year, basketball superstar LeBron James features in a global campaign, highlighting how Prime Day deals can assist with future aspirations, whether they may be gourmet chef or a hairstylist. Prime members can also find deals from his grooming brand, The Shop Men’s Grooming Line.
Moreover, Amazon’s Back to School and Off to College Shops will provide ample opportunities for students and parents to stock up on necessary supplies, tech, and more. School tech prices will start as low as $15, and certain school supplies will see discounts of up to 40%.
Early Prime Day deals are already available for members, allowing them to shop for everything from home tech upgrades to groceries. Prime members can also utilize the generative AI-powered shopping features to streamline their searches for deals.
To access the savings, customers need a Prime membership, available for $14.99 a month or $139 a year. Young adults can sign up for a special membership at $7.49 per month after a six-month free trial. These exclusive offers are designed to cater to those entering adulthood and provide additional cash-back rewards during Prime Day.
