Amber Alert Issued for Missing 16-Year-Old in Texas

Missing Teenager Nevaeh Norwood Amber Alert Texas

TEMPLE, Texas — An AMBER Alert has been issued for 16-year-old Nevaeh Norwood, who was reported missing by the Temple Police Department. Authorities believe she may be in grave danger. The alert was activated on February 18, 2025, following her last confirmed sighting on January 20, 2025, at around 4:30 p.m.

Norwood was last seen in the 1100 block of East Avenue B in Temple, Texas. She was reportedly wearing an orange hoodie and gray pants, and is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 203 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has urged anyone with information about Norwood’s whereabouts to contact the Temple Police Department at 254-298-5500. The AMBER Alert has also been disseminated across multiple Texas counties, including Bell, Blanco, Brazos, and many others, as law enforcement works to locate the missing teen.

“This is a local AMBER Alert activation, and we are encouraging the public to share any information that could help in locating Nevaeh,” stated a Temple Police Official. “We all hope for her safe return.”
