Duck Dynasty Robertson Family Reunion 2025

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A&E is bringing back one of its most popular reality series, “Duck Dynasty,” with a two-season revival titled “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” The new iteration will follow the Robertson family as they navigate the next chapter of their lives, focusing on Willie and Korie Robertson’s efforts to steer the family’s Duck Commander business while their adult children face the challenges of growing up. The first season is set to premiere in summer 2025.

The original series, which aired from 2012 to 2017, was a cultural phenomenon, becoming A&E’s highest-rated unscripted show and a staple of cable TV during its peak. At its height, the show drew 11.8 million viewers for its season four premiere in August 2013. The revival comes eight years after the original series concluded its 11-season run.

Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E and Lifetime, praised the Robertsons for their “unique brand of down-home practicality, Southern charm, and relatable humor.” She added, “Duck Dynasty played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”

Willie and Korie Robertson expressed their excitement in a statement, saying, “Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

The revival will not feature Phil Robertson, the family’s controversial patriarch, who was suspended from the original series in 2013 after making anti-gay remarks in a GQ interview. Phil, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, is not listed among the returning family members. Instead, the show will focus on Willie, Korie, Willie’s mother Kay, Uncle Si, and their children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca.

The new series is a collaboration between Wheelhouse Entertainment’s Spoke Studios and the Robertsons’ Tread Lively Productions. Executive producers include Brent Montgomery, Jeff Conroy, Courtney White, Will Nothacker, and Gardner Reed for Spoke Studios, alongside Korie Robertson, Willie Robertson, John Luke Robertson, and Zach Dasher for Tread Lively. A&E’s Elaine Frontain Bryant, Sean Gottlieb, and Jonathan Partridge will also serve as executive producers.

Brent Montgomery, CEO of Wheelhouse, shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I was a huge fan of the original Duck Dynasty and thought it was the best reality sitcom of all time, so I jumped at the chance to work with Willie and Korie. The Robertsons live by a motto of ‘faith, family, and fun,’ and that will be the heartbeat of what we bring to viewers.”

The revival marks a new chapter for the Robertsons, who have remained in the public eye through various ventures, including Willie’s brothers Jase and Jep’s show on Fox Nation. The original “Duck Dynasty” series continues to stream on platforms like A&E’s website, Prime Video, and Pluto TV.
