Amy Schumer Instagram Fresh Start

Los Angeles, CA — Comedian Amy Schumer has taken a bold step by wiping her Instagram account clean on Tuesday, November 11. The 44-year-old actress deleted all her previous posts to make way for a new beginning.

In her latest post, Schumer showcased an elegant Valentino Red Silk-Wool Heart Mini Dress, paired with trendy Chanel shoes. She captioned the image, “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”

Before this announcement, Schumer gave her fans a nostalgic glimpse of her very first Instagram post through her Stories. She wrote, “My first ever insta post. I’m gonna erase them all cause why not?” This shift in her social media presence comes as she focuses on her health and overall well-being.

On October 30, Schumer shared a series of photos documenting her weight loss journey, expressing, “I’m feeling strong and like myself.” Her openness about this journey has connected with many of her followers.

Schumer has previously discussed her health challenges, including a tough experience with the medication Ozempic three years ago. On The Howard Stern Show, she mentioned the significant nausea it caused her due to her genetic predisposition to discomfort, especially during her pregnancy. Despite her adverse reactions, she acknowledged that others have benefitted from the drug.

After her experience with Ozempic, Schumer has sought relief through treatments for endometriosis and perimenopause symptoms. In March 2025, she reported positive results with a new GLP1 medication, Mounjaro.

In a powerful statement regarding women’s health, Schumer has also publicly addressed her Cushing syndrome diagnosis. She described her commitment to advocating for women’s health and emphasized the importance of self-love and resilience in overcoming societal pressures concerning body image. “The shaming and criticism of our ever-changing bodies is something I have dealt with and witnessed for a long time,” she said. “I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when fighting for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them.”

Schumer’s recent actions reflect her determination to inspire her followers, as she navigates personal growth and health advocacy.
