Syracuse, NY — Actors Andy Richter and Kevin Nash are the latest additions to the cast of the dramedy ‘Caroline.’ This film marks the feature directorial debut of Morningstar Angeline, known for her role in the series ‘Outer Range.’

‘Caroline’ tells the story of an 11-year-old girl, Caroline, played by Sa’Raya Paris Johnson. Caroline is a resourceful young girl navigating a life filled with excitement and danger as she shoplifts alongside her mother, Jocelyn, portrayed by Davida Williams. The plot thickens when Caroline’s estranged father, Corey, a charming con artist played by James Udom, is released from prison and reappears in their lives. However, their moment of relief is short-lived as the family risks losing everything due to an unpayable debt, pushing them into one last desperate heist.

Richter plays Norman Montana, a well-meaning yet insecure small-town public defender. Nash portrays Marcus, a former criminal and friend of Corey who has since chosen a more stable life as a construction worker.

The script for ‘Caroline’ is written by novelist Daniel Blum, known for his work ‘The Feet Say Run.’ The film will be produced by Rob Goodrich and Jason Armstrong of Walk Like A Duck Entertainment, alongside Ellyn Vander Wyden of Voices Carry.

Production is set to begin in Syracuse at the end of May 2025. Richter, recognized for his long-standing career as Conan O’Brien’s sidekick, has appeared in various popular television shows and films. Nash, a WWE Hall of Famer, has made a successful transition from wrestling to acting, featuring in movies like ‘John Wick’ and ‘The Longest Yard.’

As excitement builds around ‘Caroline,’ both Richter and Nash are sure to bring unique energy to this compelling narrative.
