Angelina Jolie and Son Knox Jolie-Pitt Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance at Governors Awards

Angelina Jolie and her 16-year-old son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, made a rare and memorable public appearance together at the 15th Governors Awards in Los Angeles on November 17, 2024. This marked a special family night out for the duo, with Knox stepping into the spotlight for the first time in over three years.

Angelina, 48, was seen radiating grace and glamour in a flowing sunny yellow gown, walking arm-in-arm with her son down the red carpet. Knox’s last red carpet appearance was in October 2021, when he joined his siblings Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and twin sister Vivienne at the London premiere of Angelina’s Marvel film Eternals. Despite being the children of two of Hollywood’s most famous stars, the Jolie-Pitt children have largely stayed out of the limelight, a choice that Angelina has always respected.

Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, have recently worked behind the scenes on Angelina’s upcoming biopic Maria, directed by Pablo Larraín. Meanwhile, Vivienne, 16, has discovered a passion for theater and served as a producer’s assistant for the Broadway adaptation of The Outsiders, a project Angelina is producing.

Angelina’s support for her children’s creative aspirations is evident, with Vivienne’s involvement in The Outsiders production being a prime example. After seeing the play five times, Vivienne persuaded her mother to get involved, highlighting the profound impact the story had on her as a young person.
