Anna Faris Real Housewives Audition

LOS ANGELES, CA — Anna Faris recently shared her thoughts on potentially joining the cast of a Real Housewives series during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly on April 23. The actress, known for her roles in films like Just Friends, admitted she is unsure if she has the right personality for reality television.

Faris, 48, was discussing her new partnership with Walmart Express Delivery when the topic arose. She expressed doubt about whether she would fit into the Real Housewives franchise. “I think I’m way too boring. I don’t know if I’m too nice,” she said, pondering whether her demeanor aligns with what viewers expect. “I think I would wear everything on my sleeve,” she added. “I really think I would blurt out all the time.”

Unlike acting, where she focuses on playing a character and not acknowledging the camera, Faris is uncertain about being herself on reality TV. She remarked that she doesn’t fully understand what being authentic on such a show entails. Despite her reservations, she admitted she would entertain a call from Andy Cohen to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, though she feels daunted by the advanced nature of the cast members.

“That’s like going to graduate school when you’re a freshman,” she quipped. The actress also revealed her admiration for Bravo programming, saying she enjoys “all things Bravo,” including Below Deck.

In addition to discussing reality TV, Faris hinted at her interest in reprising her role as Shelley Darlingson in a possible sequel to House Bunny. “Oh gosh, that would be so fun,” she said. “I haven’t really explored it yet. [But] I mean, I would.”

As a mother, Faris noted that her son, Jack, has encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone, particularly when it comes to adventurous activities like roller coasters and water slides. “I’m really proud that I will go on any roller coaster or any water slide,” she said, emphasizing her desire to be a supportive parent for her 12-year-old son, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt.
