Apave Maroc Opens Innovative Training Center in Casablanca

CASABLANCA, Morocco — Apave, a global leader in risk management, inaugurated its first training center in Casablanca on February 14, 2025. The facility, covering 1,000 square meters, aims to enhance health and safety skills among local businesses and public entities.
With over 60 years of experience in Morocco, Apave’s new center reflects its commitment to the country’s economic and social development. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and innovative educational platforms, the training center offers over 100 specialized modules tailored to the needs of the Moroccan economic landscape.
Training sessions include electrical certifications, machinery operation, fire safety, and specialized programs focused on electric vehicle infrastructure and solar panel installation. “This center is a first for Morocco,” said Philippe Maillard, CEO of Apave. “We are thrilled to train Moroccans to work safely in critical areas such as electricity, lifting, and mechanics. This is the core mission of our training center.”
Bouchra Tabaa, General Manager of Apave Morocco, expressed pride at the opening. “Today is an exceptional day for our company. This training center represents a strategic advancement for us, as well as for our clients and partners. With cutting-edge equipment and expert trainers, we provide training designed under conditions similar to the professional environment,” she stated.
In the last two years, Apave Morocco has trained over 15,000 trainees, serving a diverse clientele ranging from small businesses to large corporations and public institutions. This initiative aligns with a broader commitment to enhance local skills and contribute to Morocco’s economic development.
Furthermore, Apave operates in more than 60 countries, including 17 in Africa, seeing this training center as a model to replicate across the continent. The inauguration of this center also responds to the urgent need for improved technical skills and workplace safety, critical for Morocco’s accelerated economic growth.
