Apple Announces Free Online Worldwide Developers Conference 2025

CUPERTINO, Calif. — Apple® today revealed plans to host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) online from June 9 to 13, 2025. The event, which is free for all developers, aims to showcase the latest advancements in Apple software and offer unique access to Apple experts.
In addition to virtual sessions, Apple will host a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on June 9 to celebrate the start of WWDC. Developers and students attending this event will be able to watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union presentations, interact with Apple engineers in labs, and participate in various activities. Space at this exclusive event will be limited.
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
This year’s WWDC will enable developers to explore new software and technologies through a variety of formats. Sessions will include video presentations and interactive labs, available on the Apple Developer app, the WWDC website, and the Apple YouTube channel.
Apple also emphasizes its commitment to nurturing future developers with the Swift® Student Challenge, which will recognize outstanding submissions from students. On March 27, applicants will be notified about their status. Distinguished Winners—50 top submissions—will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.
More information about WWDC25 will be released in the coming months, and interested attendees can keep up with updates through the Apple Developer app and the conference website.
