Apple TV+ is set to make a prominent appearance at CCXP24, the world’s largest pop culture festival, with its highly anticipated second season of the award-winning series “Severance” and the new film “The Gorge.” The event, which takes place at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil, will see these major productions feature prominently on the Thunder Stage on December 7, 2024.

The festival opens on December 5, and Apple TV+ promises engaging panel discussions and interactive fan experiences. “Severance,” which is set to return to the streaming platform on January 17, 2025, is lauded globally and has received an Emmy Award. The series is produced by Ben Stiller and stars Adam Scott alongside Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, and others. New to the second season is series regular Sarah Bock.

The series delves into the innovative yet questionable severance procedure at Lumon Industries, where employees’ work and personal memories are surgically separated. In its upcoming season, viewers can anticipate further explorations of the consequences as protagonist Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, continues to unravel the mysteries around him.

“The Gorge,” an original Apple film, presents a thrilling narrative focused on two operatives, portrayed by Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy, stationed to guard a mysterious gorge. The guards interact from afar, and as they uncover the secret threat within the gorge, they face a crucial test of endurance and resolve. The film also stars Sigourney Weaver and is directed by Scott Derrickson.

Produced by Skydance Media and Crooked Highway, the film is anticipated to be a captivating addition to Apple TV+’s repertoire, which already includes acclaimed titles such as “Ted Lasso” and “CODA.” Since its inception on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ has gained rapid recognition, earning over 500 awards, underscoring its global impact and quality content.

Apple TV+ is accessible in more than 100 countries, providing a seven-day free trial to new subscribers, with a monthly subscription of $9.99. In addition, Apple offers promotional free access to the service with new device purchases under specific conditions.
