Ariana Grande And Cynthia Erivo At Wicked Los Angeles Premiere

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo continued their stylish journey on the ‘Wicked’ press tour by attending the movie’s Los Angeles premiere on November 9, 2024. The actresses, who play Glinda and Elphaba respectively, made a significant fashion statement with their outfits, each paying homage to their characters.

Grande, styled by Mimi Cuttrell, wore a custom Thom Browne pink-and-white gingham dress with a strapless ball gown silhouette, paired with a matching bolero jacket and gloves, as well as glittery silver heels. Her hair was styled in a classic updo with a bow, further enhancing her Glinda-inspired look.

Cynthia Erivo, styled by Jason Bolden, opted for a bold and dramatic look in a custom green vinyl dress by Louis Vuitton, topped with a fringed silk stole. Her outfit was elevated by stunning jewelry pieces from Roberto Coin, including an 18K white gold diamond and emerald collar necklace worth $750,000.

The ‘Wicked’ premiere is part of the “Journey Through Oz” tour, which kicked off in Sydney on November 3. The film, directed by Jon M. Chu, also stars Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, and Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, among others. Fans will have to wait until November 22 to see the movie adaptation on the big screen.

In addition to their red carpet appearances, Grande and Erivo have been channeling their Oz wardrobes at various events, including the WSJ. Magazine ‘s 2024 Innovator Awards, where they showcased their characters’ styles with a slight twist.
