Arnold Schwarzenegger Laughs off Right-wing Conspiracy Theories About Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Romance
Former Republican governor and Hollywood superstar, Arnold Schwarzenegger, couldn’t help but find amusement in the right-wing conspiracy theories circulating about the alleged romance between music icon Taylor Swift and football player Travis Kelce.
According to these unfounded claims, Swift’s relationship with Kelce is not only a farce, but she is also supposedly a Democratic Party plant who will endorse President Joe Biden if the Kansas City Chiefs emerge victorious against the San Francisco 49ers in an allegedly rigged Super Bowl.
Laughing at the absurdity of these theories, Schwarzenegger, known for openly criticizing Donald Trump and his supporters, remarked, ‘Remember, everything is a plant. COVID was a plant. The vaccine was the plant. Of course, she’s also a plant and the team that wins is a plant. There are agents everywhere. The CIA is operating everything. I can see it very clearly how everything is a plant. It’s entertaining.’
Schwarzenegger’s willingness to dismiss these baseless claims comes as no surprise, given his outspoken nature. Previously, he has publicly referred to Trump as the ‘worst president ever’ and drew comparisons between the rioters on January 6th and Nazis.
This conversation with the ‘Terminator’ star took place while discussing his upcoming Super Bowl commercial for State Farm. The advertisement, titled ‘Agent State Farm,’ features Schwarzenegger attempting to film an action movie, but his thick accent constantly hinders his delivery of the insurance company’s famous motto, ‘Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.’
The catchy theme song for ‘Agent State Farm’ was created by Bonnie McKee and is performed by popular TikTok singer Loren Gray.
Explaining his decision to participate in the ad, Schwarzenegger praised State Farm for their commitment to public service and their ability to entertain. He shared, ‘They’re here for the people and the community. It’s also very entertaining. It’s like making an action movie. I saw all the action sequences — the house blowing up, the helicopter, and all this crazy stuff — and I said, ‘This is perfect.’ We laughed the whole time. That’s how I make these choices.’
Furthermore, Schwarzenegger revealed that he often declines endorsement offers and commercials since he does not require the money. As he put it, ‘I’ve made plenty of money.’
Looking forward to the Big Game, Schwarzenegger intends to invite some friends over to his place. He plans to grill steaks, enjoy some delicious pizza, and eagerly watch his own commercial.
When asked about his pizza preferences, the action star replied, ‘With everything on it. Totally load it up with every vegetable and every meat and every kind of junk you can find on the kitchen floor.’
