Auburn Cam Coleman Touchdown Catch

Fayetteville, Ark. — Auburn wide receiver Cam Coleman showcased his talent with a spectacular one-handed touchdown catch in the first quarter against Arkansas on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 sophomore made the grab for a 23-yard touchdown, giving the Tigers a 7-0 lead at 7:50 in the opening quarter.

The catch came on Auburn’s first drive. Quarterback Jackson Arnold aimed for Coleman in the end zone, and despite tight coverage from Arkansas cornerback Julian Neal, Coleman managed to free his left hand to make the incredible catch while falling backward.

This touchdown marked Auburn’s first passing score since their game against Oklahoma on September 20. Fans and commentators quickly took notice of the impressive play, sharing their excitement on social media.

Billy M, a fan on Twitter, exclaimed, “Cam Coleman is insane lmao” in reaction to the highlight catch. The touchdown was the result of a 9-play, 67-yard drive, emphasizing the skill and determination Coleman displays on the field.

Entering the game, Coleman had accumulated 30 catches for 413 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the overall struggles of the Auburn offense this season, plays like Coleman’s highlight-reel catch demonstrate his potential and why he was a former five-star recruit.

As Auburn looks to secure their first SEC win of the season, they will need more plays like Coleman’s to convert their season around.
