Ayalaan: Sivakarthikeyan's Alien Movie Gets Mixed Reviews

Ayalaan is a science fiction Tamil film directed by Ravikumar and starring Sivakarthikeyan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Karunakaran, Sharad Kelkar, and Isha Koppikar. The film revolves around the story of an alien that lands on Earth and befriends a young man named Tamizh (played by Sivakarthikeyan).

Upon landing on Earth, the alien, named Tattoo, played by Siddharth, gets caught by the wrong people. The film explores Tattoo’s journey to return home and his bond with Tamizh and his friends, who are determined to save the planet.

Ayalaan combines commercial elements like song-and-dance, comedy, emotions, and romance to appeal to the Tamil audience. The VFX in the film is well-executed, making the alien character more believable. However, the storyline is somewhat cliched, and some scenes feel disjointed.

The cast, including Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, and the supporting actors Yogi Babu and Karunakaran, deliver apt performances. The role of the alien, voiced by Siddharth, adds a humorous touch to the film.

Ayalaan may have faced delays in its release, but it still manages to entertain both adults and children looking for a fun timepass movie.
